How do I get a Frontline Passport?

A Frontline Passport is a single login (i.e., username/password) that you will create when your organization upgrades to the Frontline Platform. You will either receive an email invitation to create this account, or you will go through a migration process and be prompted to make the update once you attempt to sign in to a Frontline application.

What is multifactor authentication (MFA), and is it required?

Multifactor authentication (MFA) is an added layer of security used to verify your identity when you sign in to a Frontline application. It is required for a Frontline Passport.

After your first Passport sign in, you will be prompted to set up multifactor authentication (MFA). Your new Frontline Passport requires this one-time MFA setup for security and password reset purposes.

How often will I be prompted to use multifactor authentication?

Multifactor authentication (MFA) is directly tied to your session. If you sign out of a Frontline application, you will be prompted to use multifactor authentication the next time you sign in. The use of an incognito browser to sign in will also prompt multifactor authentication.

The session expiration is 30 days, but if you do not sign in for 14 days, you will be required to re-authenticate.

How does the "Keep me signed in" option work on the Sign In page?

Selection of the "Keep me signed in" option on the Sign In page will reduce the number of username and security method prompts you see the next time you sign in.

How do I reset my Frontline Passport password?

You can perform a password reset using the "Forgot password?" link on the Sign In page. Enter your username first to view the password reset option.

Is there a session timeout setting?

Your session will time out after 1 hour of inactivity. This setting cannot be changed.

Does an email invitation to create a Frontline Passport expire?

An email invitation will expire after 30 days.

Can a Frontline Passport account get locked out?

After 5 failed attempts, an account will become locked out for 1 hour. You will then have the ability to unlock your account via self-service.

How do I unlock my Frontline Passport account?

After 5 failed attempts, you will receive a self-service unlock request, which is sent to your Frontline Passport email. Follow the instructions in the email to unlock the account. If no action is taken from the email, the account will unlock in 1 hour.
