Searching for a User

This article describes how to search for a user within the Frontline Administration application.

 First Steps: If you have Admin permissions, take a moment to learn how to create users in addition to searching for and managing a user's existing profile details.

Navigation

Access Frontline Administration via the application dropdown provided in the top purple bar of your application, or via the app selector used during initial sign in.

User Search

The "Home" page contains the search engine used to locate and manage all users within your organization. Use the filters and search box(es) to define your query.

Account Status  
  Has Passport Displays a user who has accepted an account invitation and has created a Frontline Passport account.
  No Passport Displays a user who has not yet created a Frontline Passport account.
  Pending Email Invite Displays a user whose information has been added in the system and who has been sent an invitation to create a Passport account, but who has not yet completed the Passport setup.
  Has Organization Account Displays a user who has set up a single sign on account through their organization's SSO provider.

In the First/Last name entries, enter at least 3 characters in either field and click Search

The results will display the user's name, account status, and actions related to that account status. 


Status and Related Actions

Account Status:   Has Passport
This status indicates the user has accepted the Passport invitation and created their Passport account. The system notes this with "Has Passport" in the Account Status category. Hover over this text to view the user's organization email, the date/time an Admin added their information into the system, and the user's last login date/time.

Actions  
View Person Details Select to review the user's organization details page and manage user access/roles.
Reset Password Select to send a password reset link to the email affiliated with the user's organization email.

Account Status:   No Passport
This status indicates a user has been added to an application (or applications), but does not yet have a Passport account to sign in.

Actions  
Send Account Invitation Select to review the user's details via a Quick View summary and send an invite to create a Frontline Passport account.
View Person Details Select to review the user's organization details page and manage user access/roles.

Account Status:   Invite Pending
This status indicates an email invitation was previously sent to a user to create a Passport account, but that user has not yet created their account. The system notes this with "Invite Pending" in the Account Status category. Hover over this text to view what email the invite was sent to and the date/time the invite was sent.

Actions  
Resend Invitation Select to review the user's details via a Quick View summary and re-send an invite to create a Frontline Passport account.
View Person Details Select to review the user's organization details page and manage user access/roles.

Account Status:   Has Organization Account
This status indicates a user has been set up with a single sign on account through their organization's SSO provider. Hover over this text to view the user's organization email, the date/time an Admin added their information into the system, and the user's last login date/time.

Actions  
View Person Details Select to review the user's organization details page and manage user access/roles.
Reset Password Select to send a password reset link to the email affiliated with the user's organization email.
