How the Automated Call Works
When a job becomes available, the system may call you to offer the assignment. Information includes:
- Identification of the substitute being contacted.
- Notification that an employee has requested a substitute.
- Option to accept the job offer or prevent additional calls for the day.
Assignment Details Provided During the Call
Assignment details provided include:
- District name
- School location
- Employee name and position
- Assignment date
- Start and end times
- Reporting instructions
You may be prompted to enter your PIN followed by the pound sign to continue.
Response Options
Response options include:
- Press 1 to accept the assignment
- Press 2 to hear the information again
- Press 3 to reject the assignment and allow additional calls that day
- Press 4 to reject the assignment and prevent additional calls that day
- Press 5 to repeat the summary information
Confirmation
If you accept the assignment, the system saves your response and provides a confirmation number. Record this number for your records.
