Campus User QuickStart Guide

Signing In

  • Go to app.frontlineeducation.com.
  • Enter your username and password, then click Sign In.
  • If your organization uses Single Sign-On (SSO), click the Org. SSO link.
  • If you can’t remember your credentials, use the recovery options or select “Having trouble signing in?” for troubleshooting help.

Accessing the Daily Report

The Daily Report provides an overview of absences, substitutes, and coverage for each day.

  • Click the Daily Report button on the home page to view or print the report.

Creating an Absence

Administrators may need to enter absences on behalf of employees.

  • Select Create Absence from the Quick Actions panel, or
  • Go to Absences > Create Absence from the side navigation menu.

Approving or Denying Absences

If your role includes absence approval:

  • Click Approve in the Quick Actions panel.
  • Review the list of pending absences.
  • Select Approve or Deny for each request.

Reconciling Absences

Reconciliation ensures absence data is accurate, especially if your system shares data with payroll.

  • Click Reconcile in the Quick Actions panel to review and verify absence records.

Preferred Substitutes

If your permissions allow, you can create a list of substitutes you prefer to work at your school.

  • Go to Settings > School > Preferred Substitutes.
  • Adjust visibility lead time and manage which substitutes are linked to your school.

Staff List Report

Generate a detailed list of employees and vacancy profiles.

  • Navigate to Reports > Employee > Staff List.

Substitute Sign-In Report

Create a list of substitutes scheduled to work each day.

  • Go to Reports > Absence > Substitute Sign In.
  • Print the report and have substitutes sign it when they arrive.

Mobile App Access

The Frontline Education mobile app allows you to:

  • Approve absences
  • Track substitute coverage
  • Manage absences on the go
  • Download it from your device’s app store and sign in with your system credentials.

Getting Help and Resources

  • Click Help Resources in the purple top bar of the application.
  • Access your Organization Admin’s contact details.
  • Select Frontline Support to view training materials and articles.
