QuickStart Guide: Admin Mobile App

This QuickStart Guide explains how Administrators can download, sign in, and navigate the Frontline Education Mobile app.

Download the App (iOS & Android)

  • Open the Apple App Store or Google Play Store on your device.
  • Search for Frontline Education and download the app.

Sign in

  • Once the download is complete, tap Get Started to open the sign-in screen.
  • Sign in with Frontline ID (Frontline Username and Password), or Organization SSO (Single Sign-On), if your district uses SSO.
  • If prompted, select your organization.

Homepage

The homepage includes permission-based options. Use the timeframe selector (Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow) to filter what you see, reference the purple graph for absence details, and select from the following:

  • Approvals: Review absences pending your approval.
  • Absences Today: See which absences are filled, unfilled, or don’t require a substitute.
  • People: Email or call contacts directly from your list.

Menu & Side Navigation

The “Menu” option opens a side navigation bar where you can access current tools and settings.

  • People: View your contact list; email or call individuals.
  • Approvals: View dates for previously worked assignments and upcoming accepted jobs.
  • Absences: Identify absences that are filled, unfilled, or do not require a substitute; select an entry to view details.
  • Calendar: See upcoming scheduled absences and any Professional Learning Management events you’ve registered for.
  • Inbox: Review web alerts from your district.
  • Help Center: Access mobile-app-specific help resources.
  • Settings: Review district details, manage preferences, or log out.
  • Feedback: Share feature feedback or contact Mobile Support with questions/issues.
